This tarte is so easy, and so delicious! All you need is this:
1 sheet of butter pastry 100ml almond flour 1egg a dash of almond essence 6 dried and 6 fresh figs honey and flaked almonds
Allow the dried figs to soak in water at least one hour, then chop finely. Combine the chopped, dried figs with almond flour, almond essence and the egg and mix thoroughly (preferably with a blender). Cover a small pie-dish with butter pastry and make a few holes with a fork. Then spread the almond and fig mix over, and top with sliced, fresh figs. Cook in 200 degrees for about 20-25 minutes. Take the dish out, drizzle with honey and scatter flaked almonds on top. Serve slightly warm (not hot) with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
